The trilateral cooperation between Symrise, biotech specialist BRAIN and natural-product company AnalytiCon Discovery is an outstanding example of a successful and efficient division of labor and networking among specialized partners.

Highly diverse natural product compound libraries from AnalytiCon Discovery GmbH and a library of aroma molecules from Symrise were screened in BRAIN’s customized cellular based screening platforms to identify novel bioactive substances for innovative cosmetics. This alliance allowed Symrise to forge into new territory in the development of highly effective cosmetic active ingredients as proven by SymSitive^®1609, a novel, fast-acting skin soothing ingredient, and SymDeo B125^®, a new, skin and environmentally friendly deodorant active.
