Symrise Perfumer Maurice Roucel appointed Chevalier de l’ Ordre des Arts et des Lettres

On January 26, Maurice Roucel, Master Perfumer at Symrise, was made Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres. The Order of Arts and Literature is a prestigious French award that recognizes significant contributions to these fields or the advancement of them. Among the laureates are many reputable persons from France and around the world. Frédéric Mitterrand, French Minister of Culture and Communication hosted the ceremony and presented the awardees with their medallions. Following the official service there was a festive event to honor this year’s laureates, attended by representatives of the government and renowned institutions.
