Symrise is proud to announce that it has earned the Commitment to Life – Regeneration & Circularity award from beauty group Natura & Co for its work in 2023. This category recognizes the efforts of Natura & Co’s suppliers in strengthening the production chain by creating and building long-term relationships with supplier communities. With this award, Symrise therefore continues to demonstrate its leadership in sustainable ingredients and responsible sourcing as a reliable partner for customers around the world.

Symrise Scent & Care earned the Commitment to Life prize for its Bridging the Gap project in Madagascar. This socio-environmental initiative aims to develop a sustainable supply chain where small-scale agriculture is not only resilient and self-sufficient, but also an attractive opportunity for tomorrow’s farmers. This is the second Symrise Bridging the Gap project to earn this award from Natura & Co, following the success of a previous program in the Amazon in 2021. In this year’s awards, Symrise was also named as a finalist in the Best Fragrance House category, thanks to its excellent performance in sustainability, quality, service, innovation, and other key areas.

Natura & Co is a global beauty leader and is known across the industry for its strong sustainability credentials, including its Embrace supplier program. Its annual awards ceremony took place in São Paulo, Brazil, on July 2, 2024, celebrating strong partnerships and honoring the group’s best-performing partners in 2023. The award winners were decided based on the results of Natura & Co’s annual monitoring, evaluation, and scoring process across seven categories: Directs, Logistics, Biodiversity & Communities, Marketing, Digital & IT, Value Projects, and Commitment to Life.
