Sustainability has always been an integral part of our business model

We assume responsibility beyond the company itself; taking our customers, consumers, employees, society and the environment all into account. For us, this means we consider ecological and social conditions, whilst working towards efficient production, maintaining a portfolio that helps meet the basic needs of a growing world population.

In 2015, world leaders agreed to 17 goals for a better world. These goals aim to reduce poverty, achieve social equity, protect the biosphere and conserve natural resources. As a signatory of the United Nations Global Compact, we actively support the principles of responsible business outlined therein. Symrise makes effective contributions to the implementation of the SDGs in these key areas of activity.
