Symrise has secured patent protection in China for its SymSave^® H technology, strengthening the position of this multifunctional cosmetic ingredient within the Symrise Care & Wellness portfolio. Granted by the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA), patent CN116509735B protects the technology behind SymSave^® H and gives customers added trust when sourcing an original innovation for differentiated, high-performing formulations.  By securing this patent, Symrise enhances its competitive position in Asia’s high-growth beauty market and underscores its commitment to driving innovation across the region.

The newly granted patent provides exclusive protection for compositions that combine Hydroxyacetophenone with lipophilic components in aqueous systems, covering a broad range of relevant formulation applications. For customers, this protection creates greater clarity around the originality of the technology and reinforces the value of sourcing it from its developer.
